know the date, but Grandfather
died May 26, 1905 and was buried
in Corning. Grandmother travelled
alone to Paisley the next April
just after the San Francisco earth
quake. My father, Wm Charles
Anstead and my Aunt Elizabeth
Emily Anstead Davie were
living there then.”
